[ENG] ESTUDIO_ESCRITORIO is a reflection on the evolution of the studio-workshop of the artist from the architectural and spatial to the digital display. The backbone element of the work is the desktop of a computer treated as a physical and virtual space that unifies the characteristics of contemporary creation. [ES] ESTUDIO_ESCRITORIO es una reflexión sobre la evolución del estudio de artista a lo largo de la Historia reciente. Se intenta tomar conciencia de las transformaciones espaciales y conceptuales que marcaran los devenires de los distintos modos representacionales del arte occidental, haciendo especial hincapié en los “avances” de la visión y la manufactura de las obras. Así, podemos observar como los instrumentos de ordenación y medición han marcado el proceder del artista desde el Renacimiento hasta la actualidad; desde la ventana albertiana, la cámara oscura, la folie duvoir del barroco, pasando por la semiótica, hasta la conciencia de estudio y la sobre estimulación informativa que alimenta nuestra actual mirada epiléptica. [ENG] ESTUDIO_ESCRITORIO is a reflection on the evolution of the artist's studio throughout recent history. An attempt to become aware of the spatial and conceptual transformations that will mark the future of the different representational modes of Western art, with special emphasis on the "advances" of the vision and the manufacture of works. Thus, we can observe how the instruments of ordination and measurement have marked the procedure of the artist from the Renaissance to the present; From the Alberti window, the dark chamber, the folio duvoir of the baroque, through the semiotics, to the study consciousness and the informative over stimulation that feeds our present epileptic look. The backbone element of work is the desktop of a laptop treated as a physical and virtual space unifying the characteristics of contemporary creation. A container of transits, of "entanglements", of stratification of material for the process, or, in this case, the completion of a work. Underlying, such accumulation of documents reveals the loss or minimization of the real object versus the lightweight virtual file. However, all these environmental transformations do not deny a procedural analogy with the past, that is, there are numerous relationships between compartments, documents, tools or, ultimately, between physical and virtual technology.
