[ES] Café-Mediación son eventos mensuales organizados por la Asociación de Mediadoras Culturales de Madrid (AMECUM) Se plantean como sesiónes de trabajo en la que se promueve un diálogo informal entre mediadoras, responsables de distintos centros expositivos y personas interesadas en la mediación cultural para fortalecer redes de conocimiento y acción.

[ENG] Coffee-Mediation are monthly events organized by the Association of Cultural Mediators of Madrid (AMECUM) They are presented as work sessions in which an informal dialogue is promoted between responsible mediators of different exhibition centers and people interested in cultural mediation to strengthen networks of knowledge and action.

[ES] En el XVII Café-Mediación "La cultura de proximidad: un acercamiento a la mediación en los espacios artísticos de Matadero Madrid" nos trasladamos hasta Legazpi para pasear por los espacios de este centro cultural donde la mediación ha empezado a tener un papel cada vez más visible.

[ENG] In the XVII Café-Mediation "The culture of proximity: an approach to mediation in the artistic spaces of Matadero Madrid" we moved to Legazpi to walk through the spaces of this cultural center where mediation has begun to play an increasinglymore visible and important role.

Empezamos por una breve contextualización y presentación de Matadero Madrid: se define como un gran laboratorio de creación actual interdisciplinar vinculado a la ciudad, un espacio de intercambio de ideas sobre la cultura y los valores de la sociedad contemporánea, abierto a todos los campos de la creación, con el fin de favorecer el encuentro y el diálogo de los creadores entre sí y de éstos con el público.

Cada mediadora implicada en el proyecto, explica las estrategias que implica la mediación y las actividades que se desarrollan en cada espacio: relación de acogida, escucha, información y conexión entre el visitante y el espacio en el que estamos, poniendo en común sus experiencias y observaciones.

A partir de aquí damos un paseo por INTERMEDIÆ [Creación Contemporánea ], conocemos el espacio de mediación de RESIDENCIAS ARTÍSTICAS y los entresijos de las NAVES MATADERO-CENTRO INTERNACIONAL DE ARTES VIVAS. Seguiremos la actividad con una charla informal acompañadas por las mediadoras de los espacios, socias activas de #AMECUM, quienes nos contarán su experiencia y plantearemos de forma conjunta posibles retos y desafíos del ejercicio de la mediación y dinamización en espacios culturales de proximidad and creación.

We begin with a brief contextualization and presentation of Matadero Madrid: it is defined as a great laboratory of interdisciplinary contemporary creation linked to the city, a space for the exchange of ideas about the culture and values of contemporary society, open to all fields of the creation, in order to favor the meeting and dialogue of the creators with each other and with the public.

Each mediator involved in the project explains the strategies involved in the mediation and the activities that take place in each space: relationship of reception, listening, information and connection between the visitor and the space in which we are, sharing their experiences and observations.

after this presentation we take a walk through INTERMEDIÆ [Contemporary Creation], get to know the mediation space of ARTISTIC RESIDENCES and the intricacies of the NAVES MATADERO-CENTRO INTERNACIONAL DE ARTES VIVAS. We will follow the activity with an informal chat accompanied by the mediators of the spaces, active members of #AMECUM, who will tell us their experience and we will pose together possible challenges of the exercise of mediation and dynamism in cultural spaces of proximity and creation.

[ES] Ser parte activa de la transversalidad y la creación en proceso para estimular la actividad artística local que plantea Intermediae. Fomentar la información y la comunicación, potenciando todas las colaboraciones posibles que permitan articular un diálogo y fortaleza en aquellos proyectos con temáticas e intereses comunes.
Hacer llegar a los visitantes todo lo que se esta llevando a cabo dentro de una plataforma tan multidisciplinar como es Intermediae, que pueda resultar confuso para el visitante no familiarizado con el espacio y hasta para el publico habitual, inconsciente de toda la actividad aquí desarrollada.

[ENG] Being an active part of the transversality and creative process and to stimulate the local artistic activity that Intermediae proposes. Inform and encourage communication, promoting all possible collaborations which allows articulating a dialogue and strength in those projects within common themes and interests.
Inform the visitors about everything that is taking place and going on within the multidisciplinary platform Intermediae, which might be confusing for the visitor not familiar with the space and even for the regular public, unaware of all the activity developed here.

NAVES MATADERO-Centro Internacional de Artes Vivas

[ES] En Naves Matadero la mediación queda enmarcada dentro de las Actividades Culturales y Educativas, y tiene como labor fundamental el diálogo e intercambio entre creadores, espectadores y especialistas con el fin de buscar espacios de encuentro que acerquen y enriquezcan el hecho escenico.

[ENG] In Naves Matadero the mediation is framed within the Cultural and Educational Activities, and ithe fundamental task is the dialogue and exchange between creators, spectators and specialists in order to find meeting spaces that bring closer and enrich the scene performance/event.

Las naves como un lugar de hacer, no solo de ver
[ES] Las funciones y intervenciones son diversas. El objetivo principal es promover el acercamiento y comprensión de la dramaturgia contemporánea nacional e internacional mediante el impulso de distintas iniciativas didácticas
Con este fin, se realizan una serie de actividades de mediación –algunas anteriores y otras posteriores a la representación pero siempre paralelas a las obras, que contribuyen a despertar el interés por el arte escénico no sólo como un entretenimiento de ocio sino también como una forma de fomentar que los espectadores se conviertan en sujetos participantes y culturalmente activos. Que el espectador participe de manera activa en este proceso, aportando su conocimiento del mundo y su historia, generar una comunicación directa, constante y real con usuarios: facilitarles herramientas y medios para profundizar en las propuestas escénicas desde diversas facetas del hecho teatral.

The 'naves' as a place to do, not just to watch
[ENG] The functions and interventions are diverse. The main objective is to promote the approach and understanding of contemporary national and international dramaturgy through the promotion of different didactic initiatives
To this end, a serie of mediation activities are carried out-some previous and others subsequent to the performance but always parallel to the works, which contribute to arouse interest in living arts not just as entertainment but also as a way to encourage viewers to become participating and culturally active subjects. Make the viewer participate actively in this process, contributing with their own background and knowledgement of the world, generating a direct, constant and real communication with users: providing tools to deepen in the proposals from various facets of the theatrical event.

NAVES DE RESIDENCIAS ARTÍSTICAS

[ES] Las naves de Residencias artísticas son espacios de producción y al mismo tiempo espacios de exhibición. En los cuales la mediación consiste en dar conocer más de cerca los procesos creativos de los residentes y que el público pueda disfrutar de sus creaciones e investigaciones. También se llevan a cabo jornadas de apertura de los estudios de trabajo para público general y se trabaja con entablar una red colaboración entre creadores, a través de una serie de ctividades y encuentros internos.

[ENG] Artistic Residences are spaces for production and at the same time exhibition spaces. In which the mediation consists of giving a closer knowledge of the creative processes of the residents and that the public can enjoy their creations and research. Workshops for the general public are also held, and work is being done to establish a collaboration network among creators, through a series of activities and internal meetings.

Hablamos de estrategias de mediacion en espacios de creacion: encuentros entre visitantes y creadores. Problematicas en espacios con un modelo de cooperación institucional, con organismos publicos y privados implicados.
